The rules are so simple I barely need to say them: post celebrations from the past week in your blog - they can be as small as you like, whatever you like - sign up on the linky and hop around and celebrate!
Last week I asked if anyone wanted to help co-host and I had a couple of kind responses - I'll mail you this weekend. If anyone else is interested pop a comment here too, can help as small or as much as you like.
I'm celebrating:
- I had a three day weekend and it was sunny and restful and ahhhh
- Holiday leave is all booked and sorted - hurrah!
- Finished a rough draft of my MS YAY! It is so so rough but hey! A break before tidying...
How about you?
Here's the linky:
A finished rough draft is always worth celebrating! If you need more co-hosts, I could also help out.
ReplyDeleteYay for finishing the rough draft and Holiday leave is in the works!
ReplyDeleteWhere are you going on holiday?
ReplyDeleteSomething finished is better than nothing finished - even if it is a rough draft. So, celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI love writing the tough draft, it's the rest I don't like. :)
ReplyDeleteHolidays!! Yeah... where, and I hope it's soon!
PS: Have you ever considered using a #tag for these posts so peeps can find each other on Twitter? #CTST would do. It can be a time suck to go through all the links when only some have posted. And the time-zone differences mean we all post at different times, but when the post is live it'll be on Twitter and we can find the live posts using the hashtag really quick. :) Just an idea. I'm trying to pry myself away from procrastination. :P

Holidays are wonderful, and so are finishing drafts, even if they are rough! Have a nice break before you begin the next round! Hopefully there'll be more restful and sunny days coming up.
ReplyDeleteVikki, I envy you - breaks and finishing a rough draft - I'd be on a big high. I'm so pleased for you really. Writers need more breaks than other mortals because it's such slow, lonely, hard work.
