Greetings and welcome to 2014 and Celebrate the Small Things!
I am starting the year as I mean to go on: by posting my weekly celebrations!
Thank you to EVERYONE who joined in this in 2013. I posted my first celebration last January on the 11th and here we are nearly a year later. I really, truly appreciate everybody who has joined in and I hope, will continue to join in.
I have made a master post: HERE which explains the rules, and contains the sign up list. Please link to here if you need to explain the rules or link somewhere, and comment there if you need to be removed or added. I will be using that link on a weekly basis.
I have tidied the list for the new year: if I removed you and you intend joining in, please accept my apologies, it's tricky keeping track!
Finally, I missed last Friday 27th due to messing up the scheduling of my post, many apologies! I am only just properly back online so am going to use part of that post now!
My celebrations are for 2013:
1. Most importantly, aside from minor illnesses, my loved ones stayed healthy. I am grateful for that.
2. I made new friends, online and off. *hello new friends*
3. I am able to work and enjoy it, despite it being quite busy sometimes ;)
4. The time I have had to write!
5. I have got into a gym habit I hope to continue.
6. CHOCOLATE. Life would be dull without it.
Thank you to all of you for joining in. Happy New Year!
The sign up:
Happy New Year! It's great that you've decided to keep the Celebration hop going. Although I haven't managed every week, it's a great way to share in everyone's joys.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Vikki. I really love these small celebrations. And I need to get back into shape also after all the delightful goodies which I tend to overindulge.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do keep up the gym habit!
ReplyDeleteIt's tough maintaining a list like that. I know I've accidentally removed people from the IWSG list.
Happy New Year to Everyone. And thank you, Vikki, for your consistent tending of this great 'hoppety' blog.
ReplyDeleteMy Resolution: A new computer that will keep up with all these wonderful blogs without having hissey-fits.
I'm so glad the celebrations will continue, they are a wonderful way to end each week! Hope you have a great 2014, with lots of friends, writing, and chocolate =)
ReplyDeleteYay for chocolate. And for enjoying your work. That's so helpful.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Thank you for starting this hop, it's one of my favourites. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the net. Sounds like 2013 was great. 2014 will be even better. Anyone who love chocolate is a friend of mine. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteYay chocolate and writing and friends and gym time and ALL THE THINGS. Happy new year to you!! :)
ReplyDeleteChocolate! YES :D
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and thanks so much for this Celebration hop. I like feeling accomplished at the end of the week even when I don't do much, and this makes me aware of the little things that made my weeks special & productive <3
Life would definitely be dull without chocolate. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Congrats on your gym habit--that's one I need to acquire myself. Have a good weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for health, new friends, writing, and a new gym habit! I hope your 2014 continues to be full of fun, progress and new experiences!
ReplyDeleteHello, Friend. Keep up the chocolate and the gym. They can coexist peacefully in the same person. Yay for writing and friends.
ReplyDeleteHappy New year! I need to pick up a gym habit this year. :)
ReplyDeleteHeather Musk - I am happy to keep it going! And no worries on every week, it's nice to see people join in when they do. I only tidy up the list if I think people have really dropped off to try and keep it up to date.

It's been a busy holiday season, so I took the required blogging break to fit everything else in. I'm back now and celebrating right along with you.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your celebration, CHOCOLATE - specifically rocky road…ate more than my share this past Christmas and enjoyed every little morsel :)
Happy New Year, Vik!
