Celebrate The Small Things - 26 July

feeling hot hot hot
Celebration Times Again! Yes, here we are at Celebrate The Small Things. We aren't just here for the big things in life, like an engagement or book deal, but for the small things too: the clearing out of a cupboard, or the achievement of that pose in yoga class.

Sign up on the linky list, share your celebrations, and importantly, go, celebrate with others! Don't let anybody have zero comments! :)

My celebrations for the week are:

  • Eating our yummy yellow tomatoes still
  • The weekend is here (nuff said about that, after my busy work week).
  • I had a long walk, and took a circuits class, AND went for a run, so not bad on the exercise front. (The long walk was because the tube broke, so I am entirely trying to look on the bright side of an unexpected hour long walk on the hottest day of the year which made me late home and swear (that's curse to Americans I think?) under my breath.)
What are YOU celebrating?

  1. I swear under my breath a lot. And just right out loud even more often...

    Enjoy your weekend!

  2. Hm. The differences between cursing and swearing would make an interesting blog post. Cursing: damn it all! Swearing: by golly, I'm going to (insert something here). I do both on terrifically hot days. But I'm not surprised that you could look on the bright side! Have a good weekend!

  5. I love tomatoes. Lately I have been roasting them with olive oil and then melting mozzarella cheese on top. I top it with a leaf of lettuce and put it in between two toasted pieces of toasted bread. Yum!
Congrats on the exercise and surviving the heat!

  7. Yum, more tomatoes! I agree with Alex - it's too hot to walk.

  8. Cursing and swearing? Either way, it let's off steam--much needed in this muggy hot weather. That's why I go to an airconditioned gym. Alas, none of the above allowed--even when pressing (two 5 lb) weights; hey, that's plenty for an old lady like me.

    Have a great weekend, everyone.

  9. Good job on all that exercise, even on a hot day. You should be proud. We have lots of good things to celebrate this week. Some of my friends had exciting things happen in their careers and do did I so I hope you can stop by to check it out.
    Happy weekend.

  12. "the tube broke" I was a bit stuck on that phrase, then I decided you must have meant the inner tube of a bicycle tire. Then I thought, Do those things have tubes anymore? She must have a very old bike...
Then ... finally ... my American brain realized you meant "subway." We understand swear=curse. Tube, though, that's a toughie! :-)
