Fireworks for 4th July? |
This week I am celebrating...
Summer!
Sunshine!
Andy Murray getting to the Semi's!
My friends having books coming out...Tara Tyler's Pop Travel is out on the 7th (whee!) and Ellie Phillips book Scissors, Sisters and Manic Panics is out now! It is SO exciting to have this happen for my friends.
Also we ate some of our new yellow tomatoes with dinner last night ;)
Hope my American pals had a good 4th of July.
Do hop around the list ;)
The yellow tomatoes are supposed to be healthier in some way. . .at least, I remember my mother saying something about a different vitamin or ??? Enjoy that sun!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is lovely here at the minute, we're supposed to get a really nice weekend. I hope it lasts!
ReplyDeleteTwo more days to Tara's book!
ReplyDeleteThe sun and summer are on my list!! It's lovely to finally get some summer :)
ReplyDeleteCelebrating the appearance of summer as well. I've got a single green tomato on my plant so far but ever hopeful! Had a handful of strawberries from the garden yesterday though.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for Andy Murray, too. I'll be rooting for him this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWonderful things to celebrate! I can't believe that I've never had a yellow tomato! Green, red yes, but never a yellow :) And I LOVE homegrown tomatoes. Nothing compares. Oh how I miss them. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteHomegrown tomatoes are the best :) Enjoy the sun!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your tomatoes! And giant congrats to Tara and Ellie!
ReplyDeleteI love fresh tomatoes, and I did enjoy my 4th!! Happy weekend, Vik!!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you celebrate others and sunshine and tomatoes are also god things.
ReplyDeleteYellow tomatoes? Very exotic! I am focusing on gooseberries at the moment. It doesn't seem to matter how many I pick, the bushes are still laden with fruit.
ReplyDeleteSummer is awesome. It's always good to celebrate the wonderful news of friends.
ReplyDeleteI had a great 4th! It's great you're enjoying both the summer and the fruits of your labor - both wonderful celebrations. Tara, I'm sure is truly celebrating this coming week. :) Writer’s Mark
