A-Z is a coming!

April is just around the corner and with it, the A-Z Challenge. I am joining in for the first time and I am very excited.

Obviously this means my usual blogging schedule is out the window, however I will still be hosting Celebrate the Small Things on a Friday. I am trying to decide whether to keep those posts separate (and put two posts up on one day) or just join them together, and have my letter of the day and my celebrations! Any thoughts? What do you usually do?

Anyone else A-Zing and are you all prepped?

  1. Just finished scheduling all my posts, yay! I didn't schedule last year and it was a nightmare, I'm feeling very organised now :)
I'll probably do my A to Z and Celebrate posts separate :)

  2. Glad you're on board! It will change your blog forever.
I'd incorporate the two together. Two posts might confuse people, especially those coming by just for the Challenge.

  3. I'm looking forward to A-Z too, Vikki! Last year, when I had a regular blog feature that fell on an A-Z day (e.g., Road Trip Wednesday), I tried to incorporate it. It was actually fun! One week, the RTW challenge was about pictures that inspire your writing. The letter for the day was "J", so my article was "Jpegs that Jiggle the Juices." :) The "Book of the Month" article fell on a "V" day, so my article was "Victorious Volume"!

I hope you have a lot of fun with this next month. I look forward to reading your posts. :)

  4. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the A to Z Challenge last year. I'm tempted to do it this year, but I just don't know if I can carve out the time. Looking forward to reading your posts! :)

  5. I was wondering the same thing about the posts, doing two or include both subjects in one. Two or One I'll be reading you. :)

  6. I failed miserably last year, but it was fun trying. Definitely giving it another go this year though. :-)

  7. It's my first time this year, too, and I'm getting pretty nervous. I'm gonna follow the advice of the fine folks here and schedule my posts now so I don't have a panic attack a few days in (and so I actually have time to read everyone else's posts which is half the point, anyway).

  8. I'm pumped!! I do the Challenge by the seat of my pants, so no prepping for me, but it doesn't mean I'm not ready! :)

  9. Oh, good! Another A-Z'er! I'd say join the two together on a Friday; one stop smiling!

  10. Hi Tara, I’m stopping by to introduce myself and wish you luck with the A-Z Blog Challenge. I’ll mostly be exploring CHANGE and SENSORY AWARENESS and how to implement these concepts in storytelling. Hope to see you around -Belinda.

  11. It's my first year to do the A to Z challenge as well! I think I'll keep the April posts and the Celebrate posts separate....

  12. Im doing it again this year!

    Good luck honey xx

  13. I'm not going to A-Z but I followed some people last year and read some interesting posts. Looking forward to reading them again this year!

  14. I didn't join this year but I'm looking forward to reading all the great posts coming up.
I would say its ok to combine both posts, you are only doing it the one day and it avoids either one being skipped.

  15. Laura - oooh yay that you have them all ready!! I haven't yet, but I guess there's time...

Alex - thanks for the tip to combine Alex!

Colin - ooh what a good idea to incorporate your regular post into the A-Z writing. :)

Jaime - it does feel like it will be time consuming but looking forward to giving it a go!

Al Diaz - aw thank you. I am going for one post I think!

Ermie - I look forward to giving it a go!

Beverly - exactly, if I don't schedule mine I'll never have time to read everybody's and I really want to!

DL Hammons - heh, good luck!

Diana - I think I will do the one, thanks!

myriteofpassage - thanks for saying hello!

Lara - ooh that's the first vote for separate!

Vikki - oh good look forward to reading your posts!

randi - I am looking forward to taking part in it!

    S.K. - I am too! I think I'll combine it.

    thanks for the comments everyone!

Please comment, I'd love to know what you think! :)
